Ylla is a Martian who gets bored with her Martian husband. She dreams every night that a strange man coming from the sky whispers into her ear, and wants to take her to his planet for a happier and greater life…

Laurent Fréchuret brings to the stage this story from Ray Bradbury’s Martian Chronicles. Two actors recreate the writing of the visionary author of Fahrenheit 451, whose strength uses myth and drama: two worlds dialogue, take each other in and dream of meeting.

The renowned five-percussionist ensemble Percussions Claviers de Lyon creates a suspenseful and poetical universe with a ‘Martian music’ evoking exoticism and nature, punctuated with more familiar tunes.

With his large experience in musical performance, German composer Moritz Eggert imagines evocative stage music… With a score that allows the musicians to converse with a Martian woman who would so much like to discover her own singing voice.
